Computer sudoku that smells like paper
The computer gave us timers, stats, hints and cross-device sync. But I still remember solving sudoku from the newspaper - with a pencil, full focus, no helpers. This project bridges both worlds.
Who this is for
For paper veterans
If you solve in the newspaper or in a booklet, Classic mode gives you exactly that feeling - without losing digital comfort (notes, undo, save).
For learners
Hints don't reveal a digit, they explain which technique to apply (Naked Single, Hidden Pair, etc). Glossary and techniques section guide you step by step.
For enthusiasts
6 difficulty levels (up to Extreme with 17 clues), iconic puzzles (Inkala 2006/2010, Royle 17), 30 achievements, Handlee handwritten font, 3 themes including pure outline.
Why Tanuki?
The tanuki (狸) is the Japanese raccoon dog, a playful shape-shifting trickster in folklore. The name sudoku comes from Japan too, so the mascot picked itself.
